This past Saturday November 15th our dancers had the privilege of performing at the Old Bridge Public Library for our community! Our dancers showcased a mix of both soft shoe and hard shoe dances, along with some lively Ceilis and Set dances that filled the room with lots of energy and excitement! We were so thrilled to see such an incredible turnout this time around and to have such an enthusiastic crowd cheering us on!
Sharing what we’ve been working on in class with our community both young and old is always such a joy! Our dancers work incredibly hard in class and having a chance to share what we love to do with others in the community really makes it all worthwhile! Moments like this remind us why we dance- to connect, to celebrate our heritage, and to bring people together.
Performances like this also give our dancers a wonderful opportunity to build stage presence and confidence while showcasing what they’ve been learning. It’s the perfect warm-up as we prepare for upcoming competitions at the end of this month and next month.
We perform at our local library on a quarterly basis, and this time around we decided to switch things up with a mini lesson at the end of the show. Kids from the audience joined us on “stage” to learn the basics of Beginner Reels and Jigs- and they absolutely loved it! Thank you to everyone who came out to support us and spent the afternoon celebrating Irish dance. We had a blast, and we can’t wait for our next performance!
