It has been a little while since we released a written blog post although there have been so many incredible events that took place this Summer and Fall. We have been lucky enough to be continually welcoming new dancers to our school and performing at various events throughout the Garden State. Such as the Annual Lakewood Renaissance Fair which has been a mainstay in our repertoire of performances over the years and one that we look forward to every year as it kicks off our performance season and we just love what a unique event it is!
On Sunday, September 21st, our dancers from the Fitzgerald School of Irish Dance performed at the Annual Lakewood Renaissance Fair held in Lakewood, NJ at Pine Park. Performing in such a lively and festive atmosphere is always such a joy, and our dancers truly brought a touch of Ireland to the Renaissance celebration.
We truly love performing at this event as after our performance many of our dancers and families love to explore the fairgrounds — from watching thrilling jousting matches to browsing the many unique and talented vendors, there is always something magical at every turn!
A huge thank you to the event organizers for inviting us again to be part of such another wonderful community celebration and to everyone who came out and supported us. We are already looking forward to next year’s fair!
